Factory New Morakniv 511 Basic knife in carbon steel with Military Green handle. While excellent steel, the Carbon steel is prone to rusting and corrosion due to contact with moisture in the air causing oxidation on the steel.
This knife has had patina finish applied to the blade to offer corrosion protection. This is a thin finish that does not effect the knife's cutting properties nor detract from its ability to take an edge while being resharpened.
